Mohammed Nasir'20
Course 16 - Aeronautics & Astronautics

From Toronto, Canada, Mohammed is a major in aerospace engineering with a concentration in autonomous systems and robotics. He has embarked on several major projects in the past, each spanning multiple years. In 2014, he founded a research initiative called Drones For Humanity, where he built large drones capable of lifting up to 50 pounds of aid supplies for use in humanitarian applications. More recently, he built a street-legal vehicle from scratch as a personal side project. He enjoys photography, speaks five languages, and is a quirky resident of Simmons Hall.

Jordan Gamble'19
Course 2 - Mechanical Engineering

Born in Baltimore, MD, Jordan is a mechanical engineering major with a minor in applied international studies. She enjoys volleyball and drawing/animation and is a resident of House 5 (Desmond) in New House. She plans to pursue her PhD in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Kansas with a focus in biomechanics.

Olivia Siegel'20
Course 6 - Electrical Engineering & Computer Science

Hailing from the great state of Massachusetts, from the grand city of Cambridge, Olivia didn’t go far to attend the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She is interested in distributed systems, which led her to take 6.141, Robotics: Science and Systems. In her free time, she is the co-president of fruit club, likes going on long bike rides, and is a Burton Third Bomber. She conducts research in CSAIL in the Distributed Robotics Laboratory and never wants to leave MIT. Her favorite place on campus is the sauna in the Z-center, a hidden gem.

Tanya Smith'20
Course 6 - Electrical Engineering & Computer Science

From San Francisco, CA, Tanya is a member of MIT Robotics Team and a Japanese language minor. She used to be a course 9 until she realized she hated working with mice and became a course 6-2. She is a proud resident of Next 4E, speaks Russian, and enjoys competitive ballroom dancing and watching anime in her spare time.
